31 107 Why did the witches make him drink an entire bottle of the formula, when just a single drop will cause a child to turn into a mouse? The more of the formula is taken, the quicker it works. By forcing him to consume an entire bottle the magic worked right away. This is important as he had heard their plan and they couldn’t take the risk that he might tell someone about it.
