28 93 Before they were both turned into mice, the narrator and Bruno Jenkins had already met. Why didn’t the narrator particularly like Bruno Jenkins? He was always boasting that his father was wealthier than the narrator’s father and the day before the narrator had caught him using a magnifying glass to burn ants alive. As a result, the two had got into a small fight and the magnifying glass was broken.
