Who is DeVasher, what is his job and what does this entail?

DeVasher is head of security. He is in charge of ensuring security at the Firm’s premises but more importantly he monitors the prospective employees when they visit. He therefore bugged the McDeere’s and had them followed whilst they were in town and learned all that there was to know about their activities whilst there. He also monitors the other employees, keeping tabs on all that they do.

DeVasher is in the process of making plans to have Kozinski, Hodge and Terrance ‘eliminated’. Why doesn’t Oliver Lambert think that it is a good idea to kill Terrance?

Terrance is a cop and if he was killed it would result in the FBI sending in many more officers to look into the company.
